Why CBD?
Cannabis is a fascinating plant that has been used throughout history for it’s healing qualities. It’s modern medicinal uses are only starting to be revealed. What we know so far is that many parts and constituents have shown remarkable potential to help everything from anxiety to pain management, sleep to skin care. CBD; short for cannabidiol; is a chemical compound from the cannabis plant. It’s a naturally occurring substance. CBDrop hemp-derived products contain no THC. Paired with naturally extracted essential oils, each item is designed to capture the harmony between pure CBD and herbs.

Hemp
Hemp is a strain of the Cannabis sativa plant that is grown specially for the industrial and therapeutic uses of its derived products. Hemp contains less than 0.3% of the psychactive THC and higher concentrations of Cannabidiol (CBD), which decreases or elimanates its psychoactive effects. It’s commercial uses include clothing, rope, paper as well as CBD oils. Hemp-derived CBD is what you’ll find in all products at CBDrop

How does CBD work?
CBD works through a number of complex
mechanisms. Preclinical studies indicate that CBD has analgesic (pain-relieving), anticonvulsant, anti-psychotic and neuroprotective effects. Unlike THC, it does not bind to the CB1 or Cb2 cannabinoids receptors, which is why it does not produce THC-like psychoactivity.

What is Cannabidiol
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of 118+ cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant. CBD, CBG, and CBN carry very similar genetics to Tetrahydrocan-nabinol (THC) without any psychoactive properties. These beneficial cannabinoids do not have any toxic or addictive qualities and yield little to no undesired side effects.

What is Cannabanoids?
Cannabinoids are chemical compounds that make up the Cannabis plant. There are over 113 unique cannabinoids, CDB and THC being the most well-know and studied. Both are unique cannabinoids with separate properties and offer an array of
therapeutic benefits. They work by imitating compounds our bodies naturally produce, called endocannabinoids, which activates to maintain internal stability and health.

Hemp Oil Is Vegan & Vegetarian Friendly
Due to the fact that vegetarians and vegans abstain from eating seafood, maintaining a good ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids can be tricky for them. That’s why hemp oil can be such a versatile solution for them. Hemp oil contains the optimal ratio of these nourishing acids, without the need of harming any other animal in the process.
